Job Description:
As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall administration and efficient daily operations of a full-service branch office in Delhi, ensuring alignment with the bank’s objectives. You will be the face of the bank in the given geography, driving team performance, sales targets, and business growth while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute, service, and monitor overall administration and efficient daily operations of the branch, including operations, lending, product sales, customer service, security, and safety.
- Represent the bank in the given geography across all customer segments.
- Drive team performance and business growth in the market.
- Present yourself articulately and manage relationships with senior profiles and dignitaries effectively.
- Achieve incremental targets for liabilities (CA, SA, FD) and fee-based products revenue from trade/FX, third-party products (MF, LI, GI, etc.), and wealth management.
- Prepare and monitor sales plans for the branch, ensuring alignment with annual operating plans (AOP).
- Build a healthy liability and business banking book.
- Prepare and track product-wise liabilities and fee-based AOP for the financial year.
- Review and track monthly activity calendars of outbound activities.
- Conduct quarterly reviews of all branch employees and provide necessary feedback.
- Review productivity of Relationship Managers, Branch Operations Managers, Business Bankers, and Personal Banker cum Cashiers on a weekly basis.
- Provide daily guidance and support to Branch Operations Managers and Personal Banker cum Cashiers, and weekly support to the sales team.
- Ensure proper onboarding of all new customers acquired by the branch.
- Track daily business generation through inflow-outflow reports, account closures, FD renewals, FD closures, overdue FD, locker occupancy, and sales activities.
- Maintain the quality of customer acquisition through the sourcing mix and onboarding process.
- Regularly monitor Daily Sales Reports (DSRs) and take necessary actions.
Performance Indicators:
- Retail P&L performance.
- Growth in the GL size of the branch.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 8 years of experience in banking, with a proven track record in branch management and sales leadership.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Sound knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
