Job Title: Area Head – Banca

Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual for the position of Area Head – Bancassurance, responsible for managing branches in Coimbatore and Kerala. The ideal candidate will be based in Coimbatore and will oversee the operations of 22 branches, ensuring the effective delivery of third-party products, including Life Insurance (LI), Health Insurance (HI), and General Insurance (GI).

Responsibilities:

  1. Branch Management:

Lead, manage, and oversee the operations of 22 branches across Coimbatore and Kerala.

Drive business growth and achievement of targets in the assigned region.

Ensure that all branches meet the prescribed standards of customer service, operational efficiency, and compliance.

2. Team Management:

Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of Bancassurance Managers and Sales Executives.

Motivate and mentor the team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.

Conduct regular performance reviews, set objectives, and provide feedback to the team.

3. Product Management:

Develop and execute strategies for the sale of third-party products, including Life Insurance, Health Insurance, and General Insurance.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery and promotion of insurance products.

Keep up-to-date with market trends, competitors’ activities, and regulatory changes.

4. Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including branch managers, regional managers, and corporate partners.

Foster a positive working relationship with insurance partners to drive business growth and maximize revenue.

5. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Conduct regular audits to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.

Implement corrective measures as necessary to address any non-compliance issues.

Requirements:

  1. Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. MBA preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Bancassurance or related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

2. Skills and Competencies:

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

Sound knowledge of Life Insurance, Health Insurance, and General Insurance products.

Good understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.

Ability to work independently and under pressure.

3. Location and Travel:

Base location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.

Willingness to travel within the assigned region (Coimbatore and Kerala) as required.
