Key Responsibilities:

1. Report Development:
   • Design and develop interactive reports, dashboards, and scorecards using IBM Cognos Report Studio, Workspace, and Dashboard.
   • Create and maintain complex queries and metadata models in Framework Manager to support reporting requirements.
2. Data Integration:
   • Collaborate with data engineers to integrate data from various sources into Cognos for reporting and analysis.
   • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by validating data sources and report outputs.
3. Performance Tuning:
   • Monitor and optimize report performance, identifying areas for improvement in report execution and data retrieval.
   • Implement best practices for report design and data modeling to enhance performance.
4. User Collaboration:
   • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.
   • Conduct regular meetings with users to review reporting needs and present findings.
5. Testing and Validation:
   • Perform thorough testing of reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
   • Address any issues or bugs in reports promptly.
6. Training and Documentation:
   • Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively use Cognos tools and reports.
   • Create and maintain documentation for report specifications, data sources, and processes.
7. Continuous Improvement:
   • Stay updated on the latest features and enhancements in IBM Cognos Analytics.
   • Recommend and implement improvements to existing reports and dashboards based on user feedback.
8. Data Governance:
   • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies when handling sensitive data.
   • Participate in initiatives to enhance data quality and reporting standards.
