Position Purpose: The primary purpose of this role is to acquire new Non-Resident Indian (NRI) business through open market channels and assigned branches while cross-selling a range of other banking products to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Customer Acquisition:
- Identify and acquire new NRI customers through various channels, including open market initiatives and designated branches.
- Develop strategies to attract potential NRI customers and convert leads into active clients.
- Product Knowledge and Sales:
- Maintain an excellent understanding of the bank’s products, processes, and services.
- Demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills to calculate returns, yields, EMIs, and other product-related financial metrics for customers.
- Ensure adherence to bank policies and guidelines, including KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture personal relationships with clients through calls, emails, and social interactions.
- Develop and expand existing NRI customer relationships across various banking products, including liabilities and third-party products.
- Liaise with the product management team, marketing, and other departments to enhance services and initiate new sales strategies.
- Cross-Selling and Revenue Generation:
- Cross-sell a range of banking products, including third-party offerings, to existing NRI customers.
- Collaborate with other business units to generate cross-referrals and ensure customers have seamless access to all bank products.
- Drive revenue and performance goals for the NRI channel.
- Market and Lead Development:
- Develop databases for lead generation and identify key market segments.
- Plan and conduct special sales initiatives and events targeting both prospective and existing clients.
- Performance and Coordination:
- Function as a key member of the NR Champions team, contributing to overall performance and revenue targets.
- Coordinate with other teams and departments to ensure smooth execution of sales initiatives and customer service enhancements.
- Drive RAR (Relationship-Account-Retention) contests through focused branches.
